1 day after 341 hearing??

I got a call from a "collection agency" telephone # 888-744-1438) and asked if anyone owed me money.

Very curious about the timing.

ANYWAY, I mentioned an old deadbeat(from about 7-8 years ago) and that I considered the deal "dead" and uncollectable about 3 or so years back.

I guess I'm too naive and didn't consider the possibility that this "collection" agency might actually be working for a creditor involved in my bankruptcy.

In my BK, I listed no one as owning me money. Like I said, I gave up on this guy years ago.

In hindsite and considering the curiousity of the call, now I'm concerned that this "tidbit" of information might be used to "prove" that I lied on my bankruptcy.

Any ideas?

Just trolling for business. If the debt is past the statute of limitations, it probably would not be considered an asset. I wouldn't worry.
