Unpaid commission taken 100% by court? in NV

The atty told us 100% of unpaid commissions will go to the court- which is very hard since the main bread winner is 100% commission!

Making it more complicated, is he is paid on the 25th of the month for the PREVIOUS months commissions - so even if we wait till the 26th - he has the 1-25th of the current month we lose -

Gonna be hard if this is right, because out of that we have over $1400 taken out for health and disability deductions - not to mention no pay check for a month basically

Very difficult, as it sounds as if he was salaried or hourly it wouldn't be like this, anyone else in the same situation?

    We are in NV

Tell your attorney to review the Nevada law regarding exemptions:

As used in this paragraph:a commission or a bonus. The term includes compensation received by a judgment debtor that is in the possession of the judgment debtor, compensation held in accounts maintained in a bank or any other financial institution or, in the case of a receivable, compensation that is due the judgment debtor.
