The U.S. Bankruptcy Court has four districts in California. Each district has between 1 and 6 divisions, for a total of 15 divisions. So, any back up will be division specific. If you say what division you are in, others in your division might tell you their experience. From what I've read here, it seems that discharge often doesn't happen on the 60th day. It also seems that Pacer isn't always up-to-date.

$143,000 in debt discharged for $36,500, including attorneys fees. Money well spent!

I was told due to the cutbacks in the courthouses the discharge takes about 120 days. This is in the LA area.

6 months! Sure hope not in our case. We really want to start living a somewhat normal life again.
