Hi,
I just signed all the paperwork to file Chapter 7 this past Monday. I did notice that one of the name of the creditor is off somewhat and I'm not even sure what the address of the creditor is.
This is what is listed on Schedule F - Creditors Holding Unsecure Nonpriority Claims: Gen Electric Credit Equities, Inc.
The notice I received from GE's lawyers states the name as "GE Capital Corporation."b However, the Property Manager listed it as "GE Credit Equities, Inc."
Will this have a major impact? GE is the bank that is now acting as landlord since the original landlord of the strip plaza went into bankruptcy.
Lastly, I have no idea what GE's business address is because they've been completely invisible to me and all the other tenants, but I do know the Property Manager, who are hired by GE, to manage the strip plaza.
The Property Manager and the law firm representing GE are BOTH listed on Scedule F as well w/ their correct address .
My lawyer did Google GE Credit Equities, Inc and use the address he found on Google.
If the address and name is somewhat accurate for GE, will this still be ok since I do have the correct address for the Property Manager and the Law Firm, both of which are known and both are hire by GE to represent GE?
Thanks!
