    Question ID Requirement For Court

    Hey guys!
I got my date for the 341 hearing and read that I needed to bring a photo ID and my Social Security card. My card was a paper card and it has long since bit the dust. I went to the Social Security office and I can't get the new card for 8 weeks. The problem is my hearing is in 3. Any ideas?

There was a thread somewhere on this site about obtaining a new SS card in a timely fashion. I think the SSA office should have given you a temporary paper (or receipt) showing your real card will be mailed. Please check with your attorney (if you filed retaining an attorney) about your SS card.

Please think positive and do not give up!
