Question Has anyone heard of legal helpers

Anyone know about these guys. Some of their post-cards are showing up in my neighborhood and I'm trying to figure out what their deal is.

I saw their web-site and it seems like a scam. I just want to know what the competition is up to.

They are not a scam, per se, but they are a BK Aggregating firm. They have a strong web presence and will accept clients in that manner and then contract with desperate local attorneys to be the attorney of record.

It's about the equivalent of a document prep service with an attorney signature.

I have them. We used them the first time we claimed BK and didn't have any problems. I am not sure what area you are in because they are pretty much across the US, but here in Illinois, it is Legal Helpers offices of xxxxxx.

I would not recommend them. My husband used them when he filed and the made the process take longer than necessary. Plus, trying to get a hold of them by phone or email was a nightmare. They were not very prompt with their responses. AND the worst was...they did not show up at the 341 meeting to represent my husband.
