Organizing paperwork - how do you do it?

Hi - this is my first post, although I've been lurking for a few months. Thanks for all of the information and help. It's made a tough time easier.

I filed chapter 13 last week and have my 341 meeting late in February. Although my cae is relatively simple (per my attorney, at least), it sure seems like a lot of paperwork to organize.

I've used the search function but haven't been able to find an answer on how to keep everything organized. I'm thinking of using a 3-ring binder or 13-pocket expanding file, but what categories? All ideas are appreciated. TIA

I used 3 inch, 3 ring binders with tabs to sort things out. I had several of them and an index to go along with them. No big deal.....

Right now I have stacks of stuff on the bedroom floor.
      The stacks are as follows...

      My paystubs...
      Hubby's paystubs...
      Tax Returns...
      Mortgage closing paperwork...
      Vehicle loan paperwork...
      Bank statements....

      CC statements...
      CC *nasty grams* ....

In addition, I have envelopes for receipts...divided in food, gas, clothing etc....
