Yesterday we put money down to retain our Attorney and he did advise us to send all creditors his way. My question is do we need to contact them or wait for them to contact us? Which Im guessing will be very soon since we were also advised to quit paying on everything.

You need not worry about the creditors at all. If they do happen to make contact with you (and they will definitely try), just give them your attorney's phone number and your case number. Be polite. Sooner or later, they will stop calling. Probably sooner.Comment
