Do I include income that hasnot been paid to me yet?

If I file on March 1 and I am due a regular paycheck on March 5 do I include the amount due to me for Feb. 20-28 for the 6 month look back?

I think it would be no because you may never get the check, you just don't know. It would be a wash though if you did not include the paycheck you got on Sept.5 last year for the work performed the last week of August.

Just my opinion, no factual basis for the answer.

Any paychecks received after the date of filing do not need to be included for the previous six months.

The income included for your six month lookback period is the six FULL MONTHS prior to your filing date. IF you file BK on March 1 2010, or any date in March for that matter. the income calculated is the income from Sept 2009 thru February 2010.
