I just received notice from Wells Fargo that they are sending my file to an atty to start foreclosure. This is middle Florida. I am unemployed and need to live here as long as I can. How can I stretch this out as nlong as possible? I already tried the loan mod and was turned down because I didn't make any payments. Should I call them? Or will this make things worse.

Thank you Away. I appreciate it. I was going to do a short sale but my atty just told me not to but instead hire a foreclosure atty to help stretch it. He said I could get one for $1k. I figure if he gets me an extra month or so it would be worth it because I would spend that much on rent. Do you have a foreclosure atty? Does anyone on here have an oppinion on these attornies?
