    Moving after filing

Thanks for all of the help.. I know that I'm asking a lot of questions today

What happens if I move out of state a few weeks after filing a 7? I know that I would have to come back for the 341. What about my new expenses at my new residence? The move would be for a job and for family.

Ideally you'd want the 341 before accepting a new job and moving to another state. I say ideally because in the 341 you'll be asked if there has been any change, and well a job is a change and moving changes things potentially. It may not matter though depending on the wages and your debt load, just something to keep in mind. Also if for some reason your 341 was continued you'd have to make the trip as many times as it is.

However if you get a job don't refuse it just so you don't move or are still unemployed, far to few jobs these days to do that.

If this is a possibility I'd bring it up to your lawyer if you have one as soon as possible. He might can help you out better being more familiar with your districts trustees, rules etc.
