Hello Everyone. This is my first post to the forum, this has been such a helpful tool for my husband and I. We are so appreciative that something like this is out there. We have filed bankruptcy and will have our creditors meeting later this month. We are currently still in our home and once the bankruptcy is confirmed, the foreclosure process will continue. Eventually we anticipate having to leave our home, sometime this year. I wanted to find out what other people's experiences have been trying to rent a home after filing for Bankruptcy and having a foreclosure on your credit. We have been looking around in our area to get an idea of what is out there. In your experiences, have property management companies worked with you? I've heard it's better to work directly with a landlord instead of a property management company? I'm a little nervous about noone willing to rent to us after this is all over. I would love to hear about others experiences to get an idea of what we might be in for down the road. Thank you!

You will find a place. Might not be your first choice, you might have to pay a little more, etc. But I wouldn't worry about being out on the streets. So the poor debtor, seeing naught around him
Yet feels the narrow limits that impound him
Grieves at his debt and studies to evade it
And finds at last he might as well have paid it.
