thank you all for your kind words. I like the idea that I can tell myself I did not get the job for whatever reason I pick, so I am going to select something that I like better than bankruptcy (I'm hoping this mental trick will help me put things more in perspective). And, I am taking steps to stop letting this hold me back, such as getting involved in work projects from which i had been hiding because of my fear of being found out.
