Question I moved - where do I file?

I lived in Washington State for 13 years prior to moving to Alabama 5 months ago. For all intents and purposes, I think that other than a change of address on a few things, it looks like I still live in WA as I am here looking for a job with the possibility of having to return.

Do I file there? I plan on filing a Chapter 7/no assets case. Do I have to fly out for the 341 meeting when it is scheduled?

You would "file" in Alabama because that is where you have resided for the longest period of the last 180 days. (i.e 91 days in AL). HOWEVER, you would use Washington Exemptions.
