Question about going to school prior to CH7

Hi first of all let me apologize if this question has been answered somewhere before-I searched and couldn't find it.
I am interested in taking a course at the community college that runs Jan-June 2010. We will hopefully be filing by April. My question is the cost of the class is 1400 including books etc which we have saved up but I am wondering if this will raise any flags. The class in Medical Coding and will allow be to take the test to become certified and hopefully lead to some type of employment in the future. Should I do it now or would it be better to wait until the fall after we file? I will contact my attorney but you guys respond much faster

You're not under the control of the bk courts until you file.
Nothing in the code says you can't spend money of education. That's not a luxury item. It'll be no issue.
