We have a trailer we live in. We owe 38000 and hte trailer is valued at about 29000 now. When we file bankruptcy next week can we bargain with the people that have our loan for a better rate or to reduce what we owe? chapter 7

If, you are going to formally reaffirm the debt you may get some concessions. A few people have reported some success with lenders going that route.
