Had stop my case from being filed.
Just learned today that my wife (not going to file & in a community state) has some stock ($3000) and a fidelity account with a debit card. under $50 in the account because she saves money from the stocks in that account.
The only way I found out about that account is because I had to remind her that we live in a community state and if we put all of our assets in the bankruptcy then when all of our/my debt is discharged they can't go after her. We don't have any assets from before we got married.
Chapter 13 now.......Do you think they will take all of her stock?
Chapter 7 later?....... I heard you can keep up to $2000 in stock.
I hope I can get back in next week so I can get the ball rolling.
