    Credit Union Accounts

I am in the middle of gathering paperwork for "evaluation" for my bankruptcy attorney. (another subject for another day) He has sent a spreadsheet showing all items he still needs to complete eval.
He shows Wife -Checking, Husband - Checking, and Joint - Checking. (mid divorce as well. ), but he does not ask for my CU statement, and he knows I belong. Is the CU exempt? Or should I just send it along with other statements?

You need to give every account you have. My wife is on the board of some of the organizations we belong to and we had to list those accounts since she has signature authority. Basically any account with your name on it needs to be disclosed.

If you have funds in CU accounts, I'd definitely provide your attorney with statements. CU accounts don't foster any type of exempt status. However, your State exemptions may protect your funds in these accounts.

Na-my state stinks for exemptions (CT) other than equity which fortunately/unfortunately we have much more that Fed allows.

I do have my CU statement in "the papers to be faxed" pile, but our Attorney is so thorough, I figured I'd ask.

If you don't mind me asking-are you using an Attorney or Pro Se?
Our Attorney is making this such a long procedure. I was wondering if that was normal. Printouts of everything. Completed eBay auction X everything we own..
