Well here I am again. Not that I walked away from the boards 6 months ago, I tried to keep up on everyone and it seems the people I talked to on here are doing well. SO anyway...we are about to file our paper work for a 13. My husband thought he could pull us out of it and we were doing ok for a small amount of time. Just didn't make any sense anymore to keep paying and end up not making a dent in anything. I am glad we waited to do it and not have jumped into it in June when we saw the attorney the first time. We have now been 1 year almost without using a credit card. I know we can make it on cash alone. We have learned to live on a budget and my kids have learned the word no and have gotten used to the saying we don't have the money to spend on something like that. Anyway I am back and I hope you all will welcome me back after you have a few laughs and even say " I TOLD YOU SO!!".

Don't worry about it. Better not to have resentment in the family if someone thought it was unnecessary to file. Now you are both on the same page..

I think most of us here struggled with the idea of filing. I know I tossed it around in my head for quite some time before actually taking the plunge.
