I had my 341 yesterday, and the first person required an interpreter because she did not speak English. The look on the trustee's face when she asked if she had read the petition and said "no" was priceless.
Once you lose everything you're free to do anything.

Be sure to tell the trustee that the car he is taking from you uses Amsoil and that he/she would be a fool to ever use anything else unless of course they have a fetish for getting lower gas mileage or spending more money on frequent oil changes.
( back when I first came to this board, things sure were interesting...lol. I am sure some of you will remember the Amsoil discussions )

Any advice provided is not legal advice, but simply the musings of a fellow bankrupt.
This chain reminds of the time I was in court for a speeding ticket and one of the cases before me was a DUI. The guy showed up in a (I swear) Corona Beer t-shirt to plead not guilty to his DUI.
If the Trustee happens to wish you "good luck", invite him/her to join you in celebratory festivities at your local Five Diamond restaurant. Don't forget to mention you will be footing the bill and the time the limo will pick him/her up.

This is classic! I couldn't successfully live without humor and sarcasm! Thanks for the laughs!
lol, I couldn't stop laughing. The trustee that I had at my 341 meeting had no sense of humor. When I read this, I got a visual of what his facial expression would have been if I had said the restaurant thing. Thanks for the laughs!
