How long do credit card companies keep applications?

Forever. I've seen Capital One credit card applications from 1987... why do you ask?I am a Pennsylvania Eastern and Middle District Bankruptcy, FDCPA, FCRA and Foreclosure Defense attorney, information I post is based on experience in these districts. It is not legal counsel, consider it friendly counsel.

It all depends as to what their General Counsel indicates is the term to destroy certain records for the company. That information can be permanent or destroyed within any number of indicated years. You really have no way of knowing._________________________________________
