    Pacer

I have just made my daily view of PACER (still waiting on close 14 months).

I have been noticing PACER slowing down from time to time. In the weekend it is just fine. I have just attempted using it and it took three minutes to think about transferring the data for my History.

This is probably a sign that the system is becoming extremely busy due to the enormous amount of bkers. I believe it will become slower in the near future.

    Just an observation. 'Hub

I am glad you posted this, because I thought it was just me for some reason.

Thanks. Again, it is nice to know we are not alone in our struggles.

Welcome to the Forum. There is quite a bit of information here that will be helpful. However one of the big things to do is to read the "sticky's" located at the top of the sub-headers. Most of your questions will be answered right there.

Here is the link to "What is Pacer", which is just about 3 threads above this one.

        Happy reading

I'm trying to do my part to keep pacer running smooth... I'm only logging in one time per week to check the status of my case.... My discharge date is supposed to be Nov. 2 and I forced myself to wait until two weeks ago to sign up!

Man... it is harder to check just once a week than to eat just one potato chip!

            Angelina,

Why are you still waiting for your case to close?

I'm soon going to call the Trustee about my case. Chapter 7 and discharged one month ago. Trustee never filed no asset letter and I called his office on Day 61 and was told by someone that he apparently decided not to pursue any possible equity in my wife's car.

I asked her if there was anything I needed to do or information I needed to provide and she said no and that she would let him know.

Are there any problems that could arise or timelines that get extended because your case is still open even if you have been fully discharged?

Also, Citi just filed a lift of stay. Thank God. Maybe now they'll proceed and complete the foreclosure and minimize my potential liability for HOA dues (racking up at between $600-$700/month--that they can chase me to my grave for all I care at this point.)
