Being poor is knowing exactly how much everything costs.

Being poor is getting angry at your kids for asking for all
the crap they see on TV.

Being poor is having to keep buying $800 cars because
they're what you can afford, and then having the cars
break down on you, because there's not an $800 car in
America that's worth a damn.

Being poor is hoping the toothache goes away.

Being poor is knowing your kid goes to friends' houses but
never has friends over to yours.

Just remember, "being poor" is only temporary if you learn from past mistakes. It's not a life long condition, just a temporary inconvenience. Keep the faith!Stay positive and save $$$$$!!!

Wow ... I can definitely relate.

Things are slowly getting better, but sooo many of those are true. Especially the ones about having only one heater, hoping the toothache will go away, etc.

We're picking up the pieces, slowly but surely, but there are so many tiny fragments that it's just taking time.

Being poor, is giving away something new you bought just for that reason and knowing HOW to give it to someone without them losing an ounce of pride accepting it.

Having the right attitude and treating people like they should be treated makes sure that only people that choose to be , are poor!

You can have all the money in the world and still be poor.

You can have no money and be rich in other ways!

Best part is, we each get to choose!
