Lets dream of our futures... What do you plan on?

Hubby and I hope to be out from under all this mess and into a rental place by the first of 2010. We are at a low as far as income and worth, but we are going to be relieved to have this all past us. Our dream is to save up enough to move back out west closer to family. Of course we will not do that without jobs, so it will be a while I would guess. But for now, it is a dream! Our parents are pretty old and we hope to have some time with them before it is too late, so that would be a dream come true for us!

Oh! I'll play along. I dream from time to time how I envision the future for me and hubby without the debt. We are giving up his vehicle soon and will buy something outright for him so we will only have one car payment and that will be the only debt we have besides our house. We plan in the next 2-4 years to move out West where my brother and sil live. Hope to visit them some time next year and check it out.

Personally, I never want another credit card. I know they are not evil it's what we do with them but I have been living credit card free since January and don't miss them or the monthly payments at all!

And I know to some this is blasphemy but we don't like owning a house. Nope, not one bit. Okay, I do love the attached garage and not smelling other people's food cooking like when we lived in our condo but overall, we are the renting type and will definitely be seeking a condo style place when we move to Arizona. Goodbye long cold grey Ohio winters!!!!

I dream of owning a home in a couple years....someplace decent sized with a yard my kids can play in and in a good school district. I want to be "comfortable" so that if something happens to the car or the house, we would be able to take care of it without wondering how we're going to pay the mortgage or other bills. I'd like to be able to at least pay a portion of my girls' college tuition (or maybe books/supplies). I'd also like to be in a job I really enjoy, not just tolerate to collect a paycheck/benefits.

I dream of cheap health insurance and a new DECENT job. Hopefully the coming depression won't be so bad.

Being debt free would be awesome in itself, I wouldn't even care if I had to work some crap job because I would be getting somewhere instead of going backwards. Unfortunately a good part of my debt is student loans, I graduated into a recession and lets just say its not going so hot as interest continues to compile.

I wish they would have told me in high school that college was going to put me in a debt prison for life.

Ha.. I wish they would have told me in high school back in 1968 that a little bit of college pays just that.. a little bit.. lol. I understand the college debt, the cost is like healthcare, not affordable to most people.

My dream is to take my 4 yr old grandson to the beach... Probally Ocean City, MD... I love everything about being by the ocean. Well, except swimming in it. So I guess we would have to stay somewhere with a pool. I like to see what I am swimming with .. Was suppose to take him this past summer but just couldnt come up with the money... Hopefully, with getting my finances straightened out maybe I can do it next summer..

my dream would be to sleep peacefully without worrying over bills and money. Its the last thing that runs through my head when I finally manage to go to sleep, and the first thing when I wake ( early ) each day

My dream is to have my houses rented so that someone else is paying for them, and never live in one again, thereby avoiding that big mortgage payment every month. I want to have an RV, and go travel nursing. Have my family with me and live simply and free to go where I want (every 3 months, anyway).

I dream about being able to move out of this house, and leave all the people who have tortured me for so long. If we keep the house it will be a while, but if I walk away, it might be sooner. I can rent waaaay better than this, for cheaper. If I keep it, I am dreaming of the day I am not upside down, and can pay for a better house. I dream of paying the electric bill on time every month, and still having grocery money.

I dream of being out of debt!!!!! I cant wait until mine is discharged. I dream about 5-700 bucks a month to put in savings after expences. I dream of finaly puting siding and carpet on/in the house. Paying all bills on time!!! I want to build a resto mod vintage race bike for the ahrma series and accualy have the time and money to race it!!!!!! Oh well back to my plan and being patiant!!! My dream is to move back to FL! I want to live in South Beach Miami, have a decent job and just live life debt free. Hopefully if all goes as planned I should only have a car payment (not reaffirming). This would definetly make life more pleasant to live

Since I have not filed for Ch.13 yet, it will be a few years for my dreams. But I want a house of my own, filled with antiques, nice backyard and a garden. I want to own a Harley, new truck and a Mustang Cobra in the garage. Big cruise dream to save enough money for a Silver Seas or Seabourne cruise in the southern Caribbean.
