Hi all.......new to the forum, but have been doing alot of reading over the last couple of months. We are getting ready to file in the next month or so (probably pro se). We have just recently returned to our area after 7 years, and are living with family. We would like to be in our own place by Nov 1st and have been looking at rentals (mostly private owners.)
My question is: what is the best plan of attack in order to put our story in perspective for future landlords? We stopped paying CC 3mos ago, and just recently had a vehicle repo'd. I'm sure our scores have tanked even though we had great credit previously. Should we tell the LL we are filing for bankruptcy? Tell him we are working on our credit? Does anyone have any experience in this?
Thanks all!!!
