Well here we are at that time of year when many are awaiting the new median income figures for the Means Test.
I think last year it was out about 10 days before they were effective. In our case they helped us but we had to wait to file anyway.
It appears that the median could come down in some areas from what I have been reading.
I know my daughter and her husband have to file they won't be filing until around November now.
They will be moving in with us in the very near future. There is no way they can find to keep there house. Funny thing is the mortgage company, after 11 months finally modified their mortgage lower by some $300 a month.
It would have helped but she lost her big income (some $60-70K/Yr) job a year ago in Nov and without some kind of a job that pays for child care and helps the family income they are sunk in the Phoenix area. Maybe they can change things around here and start over.
At least in the meantime they will have food and a roof over their head at my home.
And they really wanted out of that hot valley below anyway, so this is their chance to do it an start over.
For them the new income levels are not going to make a whole lot of difference, but they may affect some others here about to file.
