I live in Ohio and I was thinking about turning my car over to the bank because I will no longer be able to make the payments. If I do this, can I file a Chapter 13 6 months down the road to wipe out the deficiency balance? I really can't keep the car but if I need to file 6 months from now I do not want to run into a problem because I did this.
