I have a CU savings account that has all but $5 in it for 3 years or so. No activity whatsoever. Do I still need to provide statements? I'd asked my lawyer but haven't paid him a retainer yet.

In my district bank statements were to be made available for the previous 1-6 months depending on the TT that you get. I was lucky, I got the guy who wanted 2 months, so I made copies and then he never even asked for them.Southern District of Florida

No. It depends upon your individual case. If you have lots of debt you have to provide more information. It seems that if your unsecured exceeds $100k the trustee asks for additional info. If you have a small business, you have to provide more info. It also seems to vary by district and sometimes even by the Trustee you get!Filed CH 7 9/30/2008
