Paypal linked to bank

I have a Paypal account linked to a bank which I plan to stop paying CC on.

I have already found a new bank and will start pulling money out of old bank ASAP.

I also plan to re-link Paypal account to new bank. Since the old bank had the original link to Paypal is it possible for them to somehow get access to any funds I may have in Paypal via the new bank?

Once you have the new bank account add it and remove the old one using the PayPal interface.

Then, call PayPal customer service and make sure it's 100% completely removed on their end. They should also be able to answer any questions and I *think* they can even block your old bank. It's been awhile. You can also call your old bank and have them block PayPal for good measure. :-)

I did this when I switched from BoA to another bank and it worked like a charm. :-)
