    accounts charged off and BK7?

ok long story short, it took a while before I was able to file for my BK7. In the process some of my loans were charged off and sold to debt collection companies.

Now in my credit report that I looked online I see that the debt collection companies have the petition for BK. But the original loan has been charged off.

My question is when I get discharged will I be able to correct those with the previous lenders and perhaps ever use them again?

    Thanks in advance

You can always pay the money back. No guarantee it will do you any good unless the business is locally owned and they know you. Otherwise, you are in their data base.

In bk, it does not mean you still don't owe the debt. You do. All it is, is debt forgiveness given as a new start on bad business practices or debt that for any reason over whelmed a person. The creditor must allow the discharge and never bother you about it. If you choose to pay the creditor that is your choice.

Edit: Also, why would you wish to use any creditor. This is what got you to bk. This is only my opinion, but note my signature picture, I use no credit what-so-ever, and we are doing better now than we ever did with credit. We owe no one, so we are not obligated to another person. Remember, the lender is Master to the borrower. 'Hub

Yup I understand that, I only need to get small amounts of loans to get my credit score up.

I am penny pinching to get the most money down for something reliable while going to college. Since my 1991 toyota MR2 is killing me on gas and I always sink money into it.

But living in California there is no way that I will be able to attend Dental school and eventually start my business without credit. (although I do plan on going the army route and have them pay for education so I don't rack up 200-300k in student loan debt)

I have not been using credit for the last few years and while it feels great there are times when I wish I had to the ability to finance things the way I used too.
