    Leased vehicle repo'd

My leased vehicle was repo'd with only three payments remaining on the lease. I owed the company $2500 in late payments and $800 in use / damage fees, for a total of $3300. When I called the leasing company, they said I am responsible for the purchase price after lease, minus the auction sale price. The post lease sale price is approx. $11K more than the wholesale value. If I file now, and the include the deficiency, can I amend the filing if the amount is more or less. I have been waiting two months to get a final payoff, however the leasing company is taking it's sweet time. I NEED to file before I get repossessed!

    Any suggestions or similar situtations?

You can go ahead and list them in the initial filing. It doesn't really matter what you list as the amount owed. It'll be discharged. To be safe list the full amount that way you don't need to amend.

I don't know about every district, but here they allow you to put "unknown" for the amount if you know you owe something but have not been given the amount yet.
For example, I had unknown written for contract damage fees for my lease.
