no its free i think for the reports you first told me about where you pick the judges name, etc. at least i wasnt charged anything i can see anyhow. also there was no charge amount at the bottom of the screen.
ok thanks.
i doubt its that easy. what i usually do is look at court docket on court site for ch 7 stuff related to objections and motions that are not normal. then i have to search the case to see what its about, etc. takes time and charges.
most of them are for asset cases or businesses and the like.
i have only seen ONE where a creditor objected becuase the debtor charge $3000 before he filed bk 2 months later lol
i want to look for more but wish i could find them directly.
oh well, let me know if you find any ch 7 no asset 'motion to determine dischargablity' or something like that.Im not an attorney or a trustee. You cant trust me either though!

Caution,
On pacer when you start pulling up records on the Trustee and other cases, you can be smacked with a BIG BILL from Pacer. Do no open any of the cases to view unless it is info you need.
I only checked doc/history for any new activity on mine.
Be careful searching on Pacer, can result in big bill....

Wow -- didn't realize this was here at all! Just looked mine up. Had to look up by Judge.... indicate that I wanted 341 meetings.... then put in date.... you can even narrow it down by specific time. Then a report came up with all the 341 under specific Judge for that day. Mine is scheduled with another 15 minutes before & after!

Originally posted by jenngaArt, I looked under reports and under calendar events there is a place to pull up the 341 meetings of your Trustee on any given day. I also found out that there would be no one there that I knew personally that day by looking on that report, (although that was not my intent but it does show who the other filers are that will be at the 341 that day). But that is where I found it, under reports and then under calendar events.
My Trustee has 4 cases scheduled for every 15 min. slot. Man, that's a killer schedule! Now I know why my atty's asst. said that they ususlly had no problems w/ him, because they were very thorough in their info.
There is no way that one person could review carefully all of those cases carefully. I doubt that with the schedule they'll be keeping from now til the end of the year, that they won't even be able to look at the case before you're in front of them.
Perhaps they have an asst. that looks for just certain things or they have 2 or 3 areas they scan for red flags.

I echo Minny. Be very very very careful when looking at records. Anytime you do a search you are charged. There should be a section on Pacer that lists personal stuff, like changing login data, billing history, etc. Check out billing history. I too, was going by the little charge box at the bottom of the page. Imagine my surprise when I got a bill for $37.00! I had looked at the status page of all the cases that had the same number as my case, mind you, just the status page, plus I did not know that you can log into pacer through your state's bankruptcy court page. I was doing a "search" on my case number every time I logged in, just to access my records. I complained to Pacer and they showed me how to access my record directly through Idaho's court system. Sure wish I had known that before...It would have saved me alot of money. Pacer will not refund any monies now unless it is an administrative error. Sucks.

art, dont count of in. all they do is look at the number and they do that ahead of time.
at the 341 nothing much at all is looked at. and if they havnt had the time to review it then they will look at it later and bring it up with teh US Trustess isntead.
besides, if they have problems they bring them up later. in fact, they bring them up whenever they see them regardless of 341 being over or not.
the 341 meeting is just a court formality. it means almost nothing. you have to wait 60 days to see if they have a problem with anything.
this sucksIm not an attorney or a trustee. You cant trust me either though!

In the www.canb.uscourts.gov (San Jose, California) version, you can search on judges names and/or trustee names...
It costs $0.08 per search and then $0.08 per page for the PDF downloads... be sure to print and save if you download any PDFs!
It seems they do not bill you for PACER until you use $10.00 or more per year (or is it per quarter, their billing cycle?)
SO, your first 125 pages are effectively free! But, you have to have a valid debit or credit card just to sign up and get a login/password...
Most filings are under 50 pages...I'm in N. California ... Thanks for your replies!

I followed your instructions, jennga, and found it just fine.
Mine is 11-9-05 in Central CA and for each hour the trustee has 25 cases scheduled until you reach 4:00 P.M., then she has 135 cases scheduled in the 4:00 P.M. hour... you can guess when I am scheduled... that's right, 4:00 P.M., guess I better take my tent and plan on camping out!!!

this sucks
My 341 is almost 2 months from my filing and it would not surprise me if my discharge took 3+ months rather than 60 days.
My point was simply that these people (District Trustees, Judges and U.s. Trustees are seemingly being overworked to the point of lack of competency at this time. It seems to me that if they do find something, that it will be difficult to get an much of an in-depth hearing. They will tend to see things in black/white and look for which pigeonhole to put you in.
With the law change, this is just a very difficult time. I think, to be anyone involved, whichever side of the table you are on. Best wishes, Art
