    Pacer question

I have not signed up yet, but checked out Pacer and did their BK tutorial. Once logged in I had lots of choices:
Full Summary, Docket Report, Claims Register, Case Status, Attorney, Trustee, Associated Cases,History, Filers, Documents, Deadline/Schedule, etc.

From what I understand of the billing you pay for pages that are available whether you look at them or not and I want to only look at what I need to. My 341 is 11/14/05 and it is a simple no asset case (using an att'y). So my question: which of these choices should I look at? Don't mean to sound stupid ot lame, just don't want a huge bill for info I don't need.

If anyone is looking for this tryout it is here: http://pacer.train.uscourts.gov/

    thanks.

imo look at it all once or twice. it will cost under 10 dollars to do that.

you can see your case on line and all the things setup for you. make sure the info is correct etc.

after that, the only thing you HAVE to check is log in and pray there is no change to the "last filing" date (i think its called) at the top of the page after you give your social.

they only change it when the court adds something. for example, when your 341 meeting is done and entered they will add something. if a creditor objects then they will add something, etc.

    good luck!

I read all of the stuff just to make sure it was accurate. I even looked at how many cases my Trustee had scheduled that day so that I would know that there was no possible was he had more than 5 minutes to spend with me. But at first there won't be much infor other than what you already completed and filed and the docket gives the information of you case such as attny, trustee, region etc, exact papers I got in the mail telling me of my 341 meeting. I checked way too much at first, basically nothing was added until I had my 341 meeting.

Jennga, Under category did you find out how many cases your Trustee has that day? Also, do you know where I can find out what other cases my attorney has pending and where/when they are?
Finally, do you or does anyone know if we can just show up ans sit in on local 341 meetings? Thanks for your advice and to anyone who can answer these questions. Art

Art, I looked under reports and under calendar events there is a place to pull up the 341 meetings of your Trustee on any given day. I also found out that there would be no one there that I knew personally that day by looking on that report, (although that was not my intent but it does show who the other filers are that will be at the 341 that day). But that is where I found it, under reports and then under calendar events.

bkfiler, when I pull up my account there are several choices across the top, on of them is reports. when I click on that I am given other choices like docket report etc, the very last one is calendar events. For some reason one night I just looked at that and it is where you can look up about the 341 meeting. Probably you know who your trustee is going to be, you scroll through the Trustees until you find the right name and just click on it and fill in time frames for when you want to know how many folks have 341s scheduled that day. Hope that helps. I am the worlds worst at giving directions so let me know if that is not clear.

bkfiler, you are right, I had to find the judges name on my sheet the Trustee sent me so I knew the judge. I noticed that my Trustee was hooked up with the same judge for about a jillion cases, but that is correct, find out the judge and then you will get what you are looking for. Sorry I was thinking it was the Trustee.

                          mine must be diff.

i leave the judge box blank and select Hearing. it runs the report but they are not 341 hearings. do you see a specific option for 341 hearings?

the reports are cool. thanks for the tips. it doesnt seem to charge us for it either

Yea, BK, I am looking at it right now, 341 meeting is listed right under hearings on mine. It is a scroll box that if I keep scrolling through I get to 341I think if you knew you Judges name and could enter 341 meeting you would get more but I have never tried it the other way.
