    Retirement Account

I 'll be retiring in a few days , leaving my retirement account in place , but taking monthly payments from it to supplement my income and sustain my living expenses.

The question is,how much monthly amount am I allowed to withdraw. , by the way, haven't filed 13 yet .

I'm relatively new to this, but two things come to mind (with the little information provided):

If you're filing 13, it doesn't matter? You get to keep all of your assets typically

    AND

if you're filing 7, retirement accounts are generally off limits anyway.

    Anyone else?

It will matter to the extend that, the disbursements can determine how much disposable income you have which is the determinate of what percent payback your unsecured creditors receive in a 13.

only draw EXACTLY what you need to pay your bills. maybe a few dollars more and you should be good.
