IL attorney referral?

I am at a loss about how to find an attorney. Do I just pick some names off the net and go see them? Is there a site that reviews attorneys?

BTW- if anyone is in IL, I'd appreciate a recommendation.

There exists an organization of attorneys whose primary area of practice is debtor bankruptcy. It is the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys; "NACBA". Their website is www.nacba.org. There is an attorney referral link there that will help you find a NACBA attorney. I think you would be better off there than just random attorneys off the net.

If you are in the IL southern district I would gladly PM you my thoughts. So far mine has been great but keep in mind I haven't had my 341 meeting yet. He is a BK only attorney with 30 years experience.
