    Question joek

i have just started using 13datacenter, i have noticed that it shows i only owe $3072 but i have 20 months left on my plan @$400 a month. This is alot more than the $3072. It appears that the amount owed to the IRS was adjusted or entered incorrectly at the start. Ok, my question is, after the $3072 is paid in 5 or 6 months @$400 a month, what happens to the rest of the 60 month plan i am supposed to be on, which is about 16 months or so? do I continue paying the $400 to no creditor since the plan will be paid off?

Second question, since the adjustment was made to the IRS amount to be paid, the trustee has more than $859 on hand not distributed, her normal date of dibursment according to 13 data has always been on the 8th of the month , this is the 23rd. Heck , this is my first time on here lol, i dont even know if I am posting in the correct section

Any figures you see on 13DataCenter or 13Network are *NOT* a reliable minute-by-minute accounting by your trustee depositing and disbursing funds for your plan. Think of it as a periodic tracking mechanism used by your trustee that typically is only updated once a month (if then) by the trustee's staff. Several months may go by sometimes with nothing updated.

Some advice I learned the hard way - don't worry about what your trustee is posting to 13DataNetwork or how/when the money is coming or going from your plan. Your job is to make your Ch 13 payments on time without fail.

You have no control over what the trustee does with the payment money after you send it. The disbursements won't always be regular - it doesn't matter. The creditors have to take whatever the trustee sends whenever he/she sends it. And there are no penalties if your former due dates are missed. That's the beauty of the automatic stay. Enjoy it!

See my comment above about 13DataCenter not being an up-to-date accounting of your plan. It is not. You will pay the full payment confirmed for 36 months or until all your unsecured creditors who filed claims are paid back in full - whichever comes first.

See my comment above about 13DataCenter not being as an up-to-date accounting of your plan. It is not. As I said, it's not unusual for the trustee to skip updating 13DataCenter or even skip disbursing to creditors (even the IRS) for a month. Creditors have no choice but to take disbursements when your trustee sends them out.

Instead of worrying over what you see on 13DataNetwork, instead focus your valuable time and energy on your family budget to make sure it's in good shape - you have complete control over that

I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

There is the answer i was looking for. There is only one creditor left that hasnt been paid in full, the IRS. With my current payment, it will not take the planned 60 months to pay if in full. After paid in full it will be in the Trustees hands to stop the wage withdrawals?
