BK closing notice?

We got the letter about the BK being discharged. Do they send anything when it is offically closed? I never signed up for Pacer. I would like to check to see if its closed(makes me feel better know its ALL done) I if I look on Pacer where will I look to see if its closed? I'm afraid to sign up for Pacer as i will want to look around and see what was posted about our case. Then I will have a big bill. LOL

PS. if it is closed, nothing has been said about taking our property tax return(sept 09) and this years tax return we receive next year. I assume we get to keep ALL of them?

For me, closing was the very last entry in my pacer file.
As to the tax refunds, ask your lawyer.

Is it something easy to find? Or do I have to go through alot pages? How do i look for the lastest info?

Just pull your case up and, there will be a list in chronological order of all the filings and procedures,etc. that occured in your case.
The last entry should be the closing. As I recall, my closing was 2 days after discharge.

Best place to go is not the History but the docket report as it gives a bit of run down. If you wish to see the documents, save them to your hard drive. Rename them by number it is easier and also a short description. If you do not run up ten bucks worth, they won't bill you. 'Hub
