The license was pretty nerve racking, I was 15 years younger then too. The 341 was pretty straight forward.

The trustee ordering the car parked was a surprise. We really need two cars for transportation but we'll make due.

Here in TN the homestead exemption is $7500 for couple, $25000 for anyone with a minor in the home. There has been great debate in TN about the 25k for having minors as to whether its 25k or 50k with minor with 2 people filing. Anyway what can you tell me about your experience? Thanks.

FWIW, 6 hours after 341.. Pacer already states ...Pending status: Awaiting Discharge.

So you get discharged after the 341, not after the 36-60 month plan?

Chapter 7 it's 60 days after 341. Chapter 13 must be what you are referring to.

I'm paid up for 2 months already. I'm just curious as to when we physically surrender it. Seems like a waste just sitting in the garage and unable to drive it.

Thanks! Seems strange to make you park it. Did he say you had to leave it at the court garage or park it at home and wait for them to pick it up? If he wasn't real clear and since you have insurance prepaid. I would drive it until they ask for it back!
