    Ever Researched Your Trustee?

I thought it was interesting when I searched out our Trustee by name and his experience.
He is a real estate broker. Now I have never ever got along with a real estate agent. All 3 that I used lied through their teeth for their own gain needless to say and as a result I quit using them altogether. I in fact to the last two that if I caught them lying and could prove it their contact with us was null and void and I did just that to the last two of them. I actually put it in writing in their contact. If they didn't like it they did not have to sign it.
I was really worried that as we had real estate we had abandoned that he would question more about why we did but he did not needless to say. The lack of funds after my wife lost her last job for medical reasons left us with no explanations needed I guess with the negative cash flow and inability to sell the home in this terrible market.
Although this transaction (the BK) did not involve RE I must say he was a very nice gentleman.
Did you think of finding out who was judging you before your 341? In most cases they pop up pretty easy if you Google the names once you get your letter.

I did a pacer search to see how some of his cases were handled. Did you just google his name?

Yes, and it came right up.
At least in my case I had his address to send stuff he want to also which helped locate him further and find his history.

My guy just comes up as BK Trustee. I think he's an attorney. The Pacer site gave me all of the cases he has handled previously and ones that are going right now. Beware though, this is expensive. I have free access to Pacer, but if I had not, it would have been $46.00.

And if you don't see them right away try Googling the name with the state or the town and state they live in. You would be amazed what's out there on the internet.

Yes it can, I limited what I got from it and never owed them a dime.

All I cared about after the query was the last filing date. If I did not know for sure what it was I could look at that document.
Other than that the status when you queried told me how many days we had been in status, what it was and such.
