Done and Done!
Okay, YAY! I just opened a new checking at the bank across the street from my work --it's not "local" per se, but at least regional--I'm trying to get away from Goliath (US Bank) so I don't want to go back to a gigantic corporation.
Went over my budgetary plan last night with the family--everybody seems to like it--but, again, I don't know how you start starting over?? I have a rough estimate of my actual monthly expeditures ...some things are way low because of the current times like medical out-of-pocket...the dog's are 2 years overdue for vet care, I haven't had a hair cut in 3 years or more! And, of course, some things are way, way too high--we have been eating a lot of fast and frozen food the past few months, so I probably could easily cut my food expenditure in half.
How do I go from the middle of nowhere and get back to the road that makes sense and has signs and stuff??
I have about $100 in my pocket until next Thursday...there's a 1/4 tank of gas in the car and food in the fridge...there is nothing that has to be paid today (so I guess I'm not in a huge hurry, afterall, am I??) but my electric is past due...cell phone is past due...
I guess I can go ahead and start my plan on Thursday? Well, not really, since I'm past due everywhere...this would be so much easier if everything were current--I guess that's what I do Thursday, then? Since the ccs don't get paid and the mortgage is < 30 days late, bring as much current as I can?
Sooooooo confusing. When you've focused for so long on getting everyone paid, it's surreal to try to strategically not pay!
