Creditor knowing date first consulted an attorney?

I was reading through some AP from my district and noticed several of them mentioned the date the debtor first consulted a BK attorney.

How do they get that information? Would they know if you consulted a different attorney other than the one you actually hired?

They would ask you at the 341 meeting or during a 2004 exam (deposition).

The date you consulted with an attorney is a "minor minor" factor. After all, you have a right to consult with an attorney and everything you say to them is subject to privilege, so the court usually doesn't infer much from that fact. The important facts are what you did after you met with the attorney.
