    means test

I have searched the web and from what I can find on eansthe "means test" is that with living in Indiana, as a single filer I can't make more then $41,000 a year. Since I only make about $23,000 it would seem I qualify. Is there some form I have to fill out with my filing? I am guessing I would show my income and what bills I have?

The "form" you speak of when filing is called the petition, and it has several schedules that you need to fill out in their entirety, including the B22 form for means testing.

If you are interested in doing it yourself or not hiring an attorney, I suggest three things.

    1. Buy the NOLO Guide on filing a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, and get the latest edition.

    2. Hire a certified document preparer to professional fill out your petition.

    3. Dot your I's, cross your T's, say 7 hail marys and cross your fingers too, just kidding.
