Is there a way I can find out how long it's been since I filed bankruptcy last time.

I filed for bankruptcy approx 7 years ago. However I'm not sure how long ago it was and if it's too soon to file again. Unfortunately I can't remember my attorney's name. It was in Baltimore, MD.. There has to be a way to look this up... Can anyone please help me? Im in a real financial mess right now.

PACER... go into PACER and search for your old case by SSN.

You need to sign up for it to see your case, but it only costs 8 cents per page. You are billed quarterly and if you don't spend at least ten dollars, you don't get a bill.
Be careful when you are searching, you can spend some money without realizing it. Put your social sec number in the BK area in the correct filing district and you should be ok.

PACER might not have info that old. You can also pull a credit report. Experian listed the exact day I filed in 2001. Transunion did not have the exact day, just the month.
