Is there a site with information to find a good bk atty?

Help! I know I posted a thread about finding an attorney in Columbia, Sc but I've only had one reply.

How did you find your atty? Thanks for your help!

Unfortunately, you have to interview the attorney's to find out if they are 'good' or not for your particular situation.

Generally we recommend staying away from the BK mill type operation (large firms that just 'churn and burn' thru the BK's). You will want to have your information together and your questions written down so when you interview the attorney, all of your questions get answered. The reason we recommend interviewing at least 3 to 4 attorneys (and some people have interviewed 6 or more) is because each will view your figures and situation just a little differently. Good luck in your search.

I googled the various attorney's in my area so I knew a little about them before booking an appointment. Also, because I knew my case was a little complex due to a small business and substantially over the median income, I needed an attorney that was NOT a trustee. I wanted an attorney that was going to represent me to his best ablility. I also wanted to make sure he was going to attend my 341 - and he did. He did not send a substitute 'intern' type that knew nothing about my case. All of these things factor into your choice of attorney.
