    reaffirmation question again

Hi everyone. We have already had our 341 and it went smoothly. We received a report of no distribution, so that was good news. The only thing I am worried about right now is that we still have not received the reaffirmations for our primary mortgage. We signed our reaffirmations for the car and for the second mortgage, but still not a word about the primary mortgage (which we are current on). What happens if the bank never sends us a reaffirmation for the primary mortgage before our bankruptcy closes? Thanks everyone. I am probably worrying for nothing, but I don't want any surprises when this is all over.

I am almost in the same position. We had our 341 on May 11th. We just got our first reaffirm notice today. Its for our 2nd mortgage. DH still has not gotten a job, so we do not want to sign it. Not sure if the 1st mortgage holder will send anything. Only time will tell. But wonder what happens if we don't sign. I know I have read that the 2nd holder would have to pay off the first to take the house.
Ours is at a CU. The same place we have all our accounts. Not sure what will happen if we don't reaffirm with them. So far they have been good about accepting our payments. But if we don't reaffirm can they close our accounts or take money out of the accounts?

I haven't received a reaffermation either, but my understanding is that as long as you are making the payments you will be fine.

Assuming you used an attorney I would be on him to find out the status rather than wondering.
It should also show as a filed document on Pacer once filed with the court.
I had to "remind" our attorney that we had returned paperwork on our car reaffirmation to his office and I had heard nothing.
All of the sudden it showed up filed with the courts as I noted on Pacer. Of course the attorney said it had "already been taken care of and filed".
Yes it had, after I bought it up.
Somebody dropped the ball, don't let your attorney do it.
