Now that I have filed and 341 is just in a few weeks, is Pacer necessary, will it drive me nuts and what is the cost?

If you have a lawyer, it is probably not necessary.
I filed Pro Se, and it has been very valuable for me, although even most Pro Se filers could do without it. I needed it because I am an asset case and I needed to make sure that Colorado filed their claim for income tax. I would have never seen the claim otherwise.
And, yes, it will drive you absolutely nuts. I need to try to keep my mind off of it, and when I do, I will only check twice a day. Once every other day should suffice.
Also, if you never accumulate $10 in charges, you never pay. So, if you don't do a bunch of looking around, you shouldn't need to pay anything.
