ok, its a long story, so ill cut out the mushy part... as you recall, im 13 bait due to excess DMI... i looked everywhere for deductions, to no avail.... someone suggested i get married, or something like that...
well guess what (no, i didnt get married)... i ran across a very attractive girl that really caught my eye, while i was riding my motorcycle.. we talked briefly and she walked away... the next day, i couldnt get the girl off my mind, so i went back to the lake where i saw her the day before and we just happened to meet again.. (100 miles)
this time we exchanged phone numbers and met the third day for lunch at a snack bar...during the conversation, she told me that she had filed chapter 13 and it was being converted to a 7... she was also getting her home forclosed... i never mentioned my bk situation....
fast foward a month, and we now live together, along with her 12 year old daughter... incredible but true....will it last? who knows, but what are the chances that we met both being bk candidates... i told her that i was considering bk.... she only had a minimum wage job, so she quit it to move 100 miles to my place... now her only income is 500 per month child support....
ok, can i claim her as a deduction without getting married? what about her daughter? can this solve my DMI problem? im open to suggestions...
