    free credit reports

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I need to get all threee of my credit reports & just got one in October 08. Are there anysites that I can get them for free since I'm within the 1 year slot for a free one with annualcreditreport.com.
If no free sites, do I just go to each agency & buy one?

Apply for credit, get denied, and then use that in the space on the CR request for reason for obtaining CR, you were denied credit in the last 60 days.
    Hot tip****
(kinda works even if you weren't denied credit, just insert creditor ( hint, look at your most recent inquiry and use that name)

Thank You Ding Dong. I didnt want to spend $66 for me & husbands cr. @ $11/each. I'm meeting with someone to help me file & need to get the mounds of paperwork together.

That's a good tip - just tried it and it works!
        Chapter 7 filed 10/21/2008
        341 - 11/26 went smooth NO ASSET
Took 115 days after 341 - But Finally DISCHARGED 3/25/09

Yeah, it works every time for me.

I don't like payin' to see my own crappy credit! It is a bit of a fudge, but the CRAs aren't having to scrimp quarters just to feed the family , so I don't feel so bad, plus they are so frickin un-consumer friendly, I don't like adding to their net worth to view my own CR.

How do you know your most recent inquiry? Might it be a letter from a Collection Agency? If so, would I insert the CC Company and not the Collection Agency?

I pulled Experian in Jan. 09 as that is the CRA listed in our Attorney's paperwork. Not filing until 9/30/09, so probably need to pull another CRA in August. Experian did have my husband's son's Student Loan listed along with his Parent Loan. DH called and they removed it.
