Pre Bankruptcy Course finally done

After completing the online course with Pioneer Credit 3 weeks ago, I finally called in this evening before going to to work and finished everything up. My wife took the course this morning online, so that was the major reason for the delay.

It was pretty simple really!!! The only thing that sucked was my wife and I have to be on the phone at the same time to listen to the 5 to 10 minute briefing of our results. We have 2 phones at our house, but for some reason, you can be on both phones at the same time, so we ended up putting the phone close to both of our ears and listening.

It's funny because the woman we spoke to even agreed that bankruptcy was the right choice for us because of our debt to income ratio.

The only part I didn't like was the $70.00 fee ($35.00 for joint filers), but at least it is done and over with and one less thing to have to deal with.

She told me after we have our 341 to log back in and take the post BK course, which would be $45.00.

All I have to do now is finish up my paper work and wait until mid June where I will have all my money for attorney fee's and court fee's and I will be able to file.

Can't wait until all of this is behind me.

One more step out of the way! We had the same result from the guy who went over our info with us....he told us we really had no other choice because of the drastic amount of income we recently lost. Didn't even talk about any other options. We haven't had our 341 yet, but I did the pre-discharge course last night online. 2 long and boring hours. Dh still has to do his but there's plenty of time.
