    Have not filed tax

    We have not filed a tax return in a few years, gross income below mean. We got in to credit card trouble and will be filling chapter 7. Will the trustee need us to file anyway? And should we file the tax return before filling for bankruptcy?

    Yes, you need to file all the missing tax returns with the IRS before you can file for bankruptcy.
